What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with Service and Operations Managers to collect documents and facilitate the permit application process
  • Obtain all required approvals for permits and serve as the liaison between the company and various municipalities
  • Prepare and submit applications to agencies/boards for necessary permits and approvals
  • Review plans and start packages to ensure accuracy before submission
  • Track the status of permits and work with municipalities to ensure timely processing
  • Schedule inspections and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain project timelines
  • Enter permitting data and maintain detailed records of applications, approvals, and registrations
  • Attend meetings with Operations and General Managers to present projects and request approvals
  • Process accounts receivable payments, refunds, and permit-related expenses

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of permitting experience (required)
  • Experience with single/multi-family and amenity permitting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the construction industry (preferred)
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
