HVAC Field Supervisor – Veteran Air
Veteran Air is a premier and fast-growing provider of Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical services. We are seeking a full-time HVAC Field Supervisor to support and oversee our HVAC Service Technicians in the field. This leadership role is responsible for technician coaching, technical support, job quality, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service with every visit.
The HVAC Field Supervisor partners closely with the HVAC Service Manager to ensure high performance, consistent communication, and alignment with Veteran Air’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex installation, service, and system start‑up issues.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development for HVAC Service Technicians, including:
- Customer service
- Sales techniques
- Technical and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with company products and services
- Work closely with service, dispatch, warehouse, and other departments to maintain workflow efficiency and timely customer service.
- Deliver daily performance and job progress updates to the HVAC Service Manager.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns, ensuring long-term, positive outcomes.
- Assist with planning, forecasting, and coordinating HVAC service work orders.
- Clearly communicate goals, expectations, and performance standards to technicians.
- Ensure technicians are equipped with the proper parts, tools, and materials.
- Help foster a positive, growth-oriented culture that reflects Veteran Air’s values.
- Incorporate safety topics into coaching, training sessions, and technician check-ins.
- Monitor trends in callbacks, customer complaints, and technician performance—taking action as needed.
- Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and adaptability in all work environments.
- Occasional overnight or local travel may be required.
Required Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience in installation, service, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair (air conditioning and heating).
- At least 3 years as an HVAC Service or Installation Technician, with demonstrated ability to train and coach others.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and/or move 100 lbs or more, approximately four times per week.
